I don't think we are speaking about the same plan. Eat stop eat plan is 24 hour fasting once or twice a week. I don't think any calories are to be consumed on fast days.#

EDIT: I haven't actually read the eat fast eat book so I am not 100% sure if you do have to have any calories on fast day

Ok, that's different. The thread is about the Panorama programme (but it was actually Horizon, not Panorama ).

(The "Eat, Fast and Live Longer" plan, if you like?)

Lost another 2 pounds last week so in just over 3 weeks have lost 7 pounds although I think half a stone sounds better I'm feeling really good too.

I started taking Wheatgrass powder a few weeks back and I find that gives me a boost before a workout.

Good effort, keep it up!

Do you know what percentage of fat you have lost? And muscle?

Thanks

Not really sure on fat percentage, an online calculator put me at 19% but I have some new scales that measure fat, water, muscle & bone which put me at 15.5% body fat but I don't think they are very accurate

I don't really want to get too caught up in numbers, I just let the mirror do the talking

Yeah thats the best way. Im just interested to see if this reduced calories on 2 days is making people lose more muscle than the average diet.

Congrats mate, sounds awesome!

I know you are doing your fast daily now but whats the rest of the diet like? Also, when you eat your meals surrounding the fast, how many calories was it?

I see people mentioning 600 or so calories on fast days, but what if I fast from 8pm one day to 2pm the next. Is it 300 cals at 8pm and then another 300 at 2pm?
