Really nice bikes the Tuonos, only crap thing is the fuel economy. My old man had a 2007 R model, traded it in last year for a Honda CB1000R.

On long journeys with his mates he would be stopping twice to fill up with fuel on the Tuono when they only needed to stop once!!

I sold my bike last year (2005 Kawasaki ZX636R) after the birth of my daughter. When I eventually get back into biking I'm going to go for a super moto, something like a CRF450.

It must be an Aprilia thing. My RSV4 MPG doesn't come close to the Japanese 1000s I've owned. The 2011 map was supposed to improve it, which it did a tiny bit, and Aprilia's answer on the 2013 model: a bigger fuel tank. Great bike though!

Used to get about 25mpg from my RSV1000.. doubt the Tuono will be any better although to be honest unlike car MPG i couldn't care less whether my bike does 10 or 50 mpg..last thing i care about on a litre bike is how much MPG it does...data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Deadringers- That R6 is sexy as hell. I love it.
If I didn't have my CBR600RR I'd definitely be on an R6.

FINALLY managed a brief ride on the new Tuono...weather still a bit crap and still suffering with some post pneumonia fatigue but the brief 20 mile ride on the Tuono was fantastic.

Everything i loved about the RSV1000 without the sportsbike bad points. I can see me having a lot of fun on this bike data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'm collecting my new bike tomorrow morning and will have a 220 mile ride home to get myself familiar with it.

I've just finished a few odd jobs on it over the weekend.

Fitted Oxford Touring Heated grips
Fitting a Cigarette socket in the glove box
Fitted clear indicator lenses

So I'll need to take some new pictures.
