Yeah, 2003-2006 produces 117bhp, later than that. Most i can restrict from is 94bhp data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'm confused.
The YZF Thundercat was from the early 1990s.
CBR600s from the same area were making around 90bhp and are easily restricted to 33bhp.
If you're looking at 2003-2006 bikes, it's not a Thundercat.
Do you mean an R6?

sorry i just assumed you meant Cbr from around 2000's, not sure why. I'll have a look at the CBR's from that era now data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
and no not looking at R6, oh how much I wish i could get an R6 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Yeah, pretty sure my '99 CBR600FX was only about 90hp, I had a restrictor kit put in when I bought it (and took it out after a week)

According to google, a 92 CBR 600 has 84hp and could therefore be restricted, where as a 95 CBR 600 or later is over 100 and out of my range data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'm not sure I understand why original power is relevant?
I'd have thought, in theory, any bike can be restricted.
All they do is stop the carb slides opening enough to make proper power.
I admit I'm not too 'up' on learner laws though, given that I passed in 1984!

If i passed my test tomorrow, being the age of 21, I could ride a bike with an output of not more than 47bhp. This can be restricted, however the original outputof the bike before restriction cannot be more than double 47hp.
Looking at some GSF Bandit 600's now data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I think one of the only naked bikes I like the look of; dad had one a few years ago too
