Putting an HDMI on the Front of a Computer is a Really Nifty Idea for VR Headsets
Love that idea...wonder if you can buy them separately?
Bit naff for me, still have to have an extension from the back of the card through your case to the drive bay unless all manufactures start doing internal rear mounted hdmi sockets not just evga.
I think I'll just buy a small extension cable and have it come out underneath the front of my case or even mounted to the underside with the socket just showing so can easily be plugged in. I also think that evga front panel is ugly.
No idea, but if it really takes off then every company will have to do the same. If that happens, you should be able to pick one up for the cost of postage from members here who go SLI on new cards...
It would work perfectly on my case - it has cable slots at the top of the rear of the case (who knows what actually for), and the drive bays are hidden behind a door
Yeah I guess what I really meant was it's a great idea, but for me I'd like to see it implemented a bit better than a cable across the inside of the case as I prefer to keep them to a minimum. What case you got btw jassco?
Strange, I never got motion sick once with Valkyrie, and played it quite a bit now (same with Assetto Corsa)..
Now Alien Isolation had me reaching for the bucket after 5 mins.

It did look, and feel,spectacular, not having played Elite it was my first trip into virtual space. I just wasn't keen on having to shoot other spaceships, nor on them shooting me.
It reminded me of my brother in law, when I put him in the Rift on a racing game. He said he liked it, but wasn't keen on the driving element of it. Found himself just wanting to stop and look at the scenery.
Elite Dangerous only made me feel slightly ill during some crazy dogfighting, nothing to make me wanna stop though. Assetto Corsa though, I couldn't get above 50mph without my guts pushing up through my throat!
