Haven't got our extension kit installed yet so can't comment on boiler firing up but the light on our bridge seems to be constantly flashing too. Might tape over it

The link light is solid on my bridge. I've also experienced some of the other issues you've mentioned like the mismatching temp on the graphs page and the seemingly constant temp maintained. It does say in the FAQ that the flame symbol is a call for heat but that the boiler may not actually be firing as it may employ some of it's own logic.

Ill check mine later and report back.
Cant say ive noticed this, just checked now and it reports the current temp is 17.9 and the graph is showing 17.9 also.
Yeah ive noticed this, the schedule is set to get to 19.5 but sometimes the temp goes to 20 and the flame icon is still on.

I got an email from tado yesterday advising me of the high demand for their products and offering me 25% off my invoice if I'm ok to wait until April.
I accepted.Lived my whole life without a smart thermostat, a few more weeks isn't going to hurt!

They still haven't responded to my email from the first week of January. I tweeted them and they said they would give me priority. That was 4 days ago.

Regarding the flame icon on the stat but the boiler not firing - all boilers have their own control thermostat to set the temperature of the water sent to the heating circuit, so if the water in the circuit is already hot it will not fire until the water cools down even if the room side controls are calling for heat.
Modern boilers also have minimum run times, minimum burner off times, and monitor the flow and return temps to determine loads on the system and to modulate the gas valve. So again there may be times when the room control call for heat but the boiler stays off for a period.

For what it's worth Tado support finally got back to me about the flashing link light. They didn't explain at all but did something from their end and it is no longer flashing.
