earlier in the thread. Turn out like a cross between muffins and cookies but do for snacks, as in last night when i watched elysium.

Best whey i use is the optimum health stuff. It tastes nice and is 4x 2.25kg for 80 quid. Does me fine.Less if you use the 12 percent voucher and topcashback of about 7 percent or somthing.

My local gym sells their stuff. I haven't tried it myself but they must be fairly reputable.

Edit: Sorry, meant to quite the post about the Optimum whey.

Blimey... that's cheap.

Is it any good though? I like to put a scoop of something in my peanut butter smoothies and this would be ideal.

Can't believe the price though... what's the catch?

well...just got back and mixed up 3 scoops in a blender with nearly a pint of whole milk...

the first thing that hit me was the chalky taste of it - as the myprotein - that has a strong taste of what I assume is whey? but this seems maybe more chemically? I did manage to drink it all...maybe I'll get used to it and perhaps just mix it with 2 scoops a and maybe a combo of myprotein's unflavoured as I still have a load of that left...

Not as good as the original Tuna Steaks that PCThug found but got some of the following from Home Bargains for about 60p.

John West Tuna With a Twist
85g packet
134 cals
16.1g Protein
2.0g Carbs
6.8g Fat

Have one for lunch today and if it tastes any good then I'll be swinging by again today and grabbing as much as I can!
