You could do what I did?
1 x PSOne from ebay (Very clean example) - £10
1 x Raspberry Pi 3A & power supply - £28
1 X 32GB Micro SD Card - £10
1 X £2 hdmi cable from Amazon
Ripped out the PSOne guts, put in the Pi, added Retopie (I had to do this via my 3B Pi & move the card over, better 3A version coming soon). For a pad I'm using a PlayStation 3 controller. Retropie (when updated) even has its own PSX Mini type theme included (very similar to the Mini version).
I now have around 60 USA & Japanese 60hz games on it, I can use analogue or digital sticks, everything runs smoothly at 60hz, it looks authentic & cost £40 less than the Sony version |
