why would you assume im happy with the line up? no line up would make everyone happy. the 20 top games i would want would be different than the 20 top games someone else wants

i use my ps3 for my favorite ps1 games

sony: we dont own any of the music in those games and it would cost too much to renegotiate the rights to use them again end of conversation

I've cancelled and order the SNES Mini for the kids (me) for Christmas instead, just didn't cut it on me in the nostalgia I was looking for, shame.

I'm just not clear what you're adding to the discussion other than being argumentative for the sake of it. The SNES Mini was a much more obvious Top 20 of the games people would expect. Sony don't appear to have either chosen or been able to make the same selection.

Just seems like a very niche device. If you can even call it that. Package makes more sense.

A mixture of classic, mediocre and naff titles.

Licencing issues aside for some games there are plenty of PS1 titles that Sony could have easily got onto the mini. Square Enix were giving away Tomb Raider for 99p the other week so not seeing TR on there but rubbish like R6 is bizarre.

Not a huge deal personally however, given that I still own an original PS1 and a tonne of games, but owning a mini with 20 absolute classics would have been nice. As it stands with that line up it's not worth the £90 asking price.

I guess the key thing will be whether it is hackable like the Nintendo consoles are, then the issue with the titles becomes irrelevant
