Storage space and the larger file sizes might make it an issue. Unless you can wipe the pre installed stuff.

On a side note. Cancelled my pre order. I’ll wait for a price drop.

Oh yeah thats very true, I guess they'd be what, about 100-500mb each? At 20 games I'd imagine onboard storage would only be about 8GB.

some are bigger because they were multiple discs so final fantasy 7 will be over 1GB

Indeed, but a compressed PS1 image file can often be smaller than a 650MB/700MB disc would suggest - plenty squash down to 300-400MB and are quite usable luckily.

It will be interesting to see how much storage these come with for sure (or if it can be boosted for future titles being added by Sony etc).

DF have had a go with it and not impressed. Emulation seems off and there’s a mix of PAL and NTSC.

PlayStation Classic mixes PAL and NTSC games - and the results disappoint

I might snap one up when they are under £50, don't even mind 2nd hand. Then I'll put in a Raspberry Pi 3B , put on much better games and choose an appropriate screen filter and theme.

Seeing all the reviews yesterday I started thinking this doesn't look like a great deal like the Nintendo Mini's. Think I am going to cancel as well and see if there is a price drop in future.
