As per DF analysis, they believe it's a mobile port of the PCSX emulator that runs on this.

But the mish-mash of 50hz/60hz 30fps/25fps games is strange as you like - I wonder if we will ever get the full story on that one!

Well the PS mini has never gone ‘sold out’ since preorders opened, & ALL I ever seem to see on forums is people saying ‘Just cancelled my preorder’, never the other way round

True, but those people that paid over the odds will be kicking themselves no doubt (given the recent availability).

The PS1 mini was a no-brainer after the success of the S/NES but, after waiting to see the line up of games included, I have to say that I'm a bit underwhelmed if I'm honest. Obviously, everyone's gaming preferences are different and Sony can't please everyone and I would imagine some 3rd party publishers are the reason behind some of the glaring omissions like; Castlevania, Vagrant Story, Vandal Hearts, Chrono Cross, FF Tactics, Suikoden, Resi 2 and a whole raft of others.

I think I'll wait to see if it's as accessible as the Nintendo minis.

Forums are not a great indicator as to what the general public think. Most of them don't know what a forum is. BTW I just cancelled my order
