Last game that really impressed you

Honestly I think games are so lazy at the moment. Truly the only game that has impressed on next gen is GTA V. If you think how much is in that game then others fall way behind imo

Playing games after the last of us was like going back to VHS. Bloodborne really impressed me.. I loved the visuals and artwork and i love the Dark souls series anyway so it was a treat after the relative gaming depression I was in.

Destiny... Beautiful graphics and awesome multiplayer gameplay. Looking forward to Halo

Zelda on the snes when i was a young lad. I would have to go with Arkham Asylum as that got me back into gaming. There are quite a few other games that have impressed but these two are the stand out ones for me.

GTA 5 maxed out on PC never fails to impress me, and Last of Us on PS3 is game that will stay with me for a long time.

Going back further there's just too many, but Half Life 2, Shenmue and SNES Shadowrun all still standout.

Xenoblade Chronicles for Wi, was amazed at the size and content of the game. Cannot wait for Xenoblade Chronicles X which is apparently five times bigger!!!

Last one that left me jaw dropped and MADE me go out and buy a controller was Metal Gear Solid V. As a PC Gamer I was really taken back.
