It's been a while since I were really impressed with a video game. Guild Wars 1 would be a good candidate. Or Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (I've played it way after it got released).

Arizona sunshine on the oculus rift. Genuinely terrifying but great fun.

I'm mainly a PC gamer but recently picked up a PS4 for the exclusives and Ratchet and Clank has blown me away.

I played the original as a kid and to my surprise they've managed to capture the essence of what made the original so great with excellent gameplay and some slight tweaking in the storytelling (Captain Quarks perspective) which helps keep it feel fresh and still hilarious even as an adult.

Looking forward to the Crash Bandicoot remakes now.

Doom 3 bfg VR MOD on the rift is awesome... i just need to grow a pair and play it for longer then 10 mins, this thing scares me to death for some reason but its great fun.  The rift has got me back into gaming as well, got bored of games for a long time.. Can't wait to see what happens over the next couple of years because VR on any system is a game changer and will only get better!

I would say it was really Witcher 3 due to the world created and even the side quests were really good (other games have mediocre side quests) All the expansions are really good from what I've heard, just starting the 1st soon) (A lot of DLC for RPG tend to be short or weak)

Without a doubt, Limbo. Very film Noir, eerie, and beautiful! Just blows me away every time I play it.
Unchartered also amazing, the characters are great, the storylines could actually be made into good films, (unlike most other games lol) and I love the sarcasm! Very me! lol Just wish I could climb a wall the way our Nath can!

Sadly, I don't get to play games that often any more but the last game to really impress me has to be Anno 2070.
Anno is a city building game but the level of detail into the resource management is amazing, the amount of different routes you can take and the amount of missions you can play for a resource game is really good.

This game can also get really difficult, especially with the pirate destroying trade routes.

On top of the depth of the game play, the graphics are also really good with fantastic design that really depicts the culture your aiming to create.

Fantastic game!
