Worked with a traditional Sikh guy who was veggie but loved the smell of bacon frying in the morning, he would sit in the cafe just to imbibe the intoxicating vapours as he put it.

Londoners call it red sauce, just as they call HP brown sauce. Well they used to.

Crusty or fatty?

Personally I cannot eat any type of slimy, soggy, slippery food, so crunchy for me

I like my Bacon nicely crispy otherwise the fat comes off...normally grilled smoke medallion's too...

White buttered bread/bun with some freshly ground black pepper...
if I do have a fried egg with it, then I cook it in very hot vegetable oil so the base gets crispy and the yolk soft...

Project much?
The very fact that I had to place a proviso on my thread about my statement of intent shows you how crazy the world we live in is as one has to tiptoe around something as simple as the appreciation of a food item for the fear of offending but I see your pro troll anti bacon discussion agenda so please cease and desist. There are many other threads here, go and attempt to be controversial elsewhere chum or better yet just be a decent human being

Ain't that the truth.

Bacon and eggs - one of the true culinary perfect matchings.

Gotta be brown for me.

The Warburton's sandwich thins are good for a bacon sarnie on its own as sometimes a bread roll can be a bit too bready.

An observation - Scots say 'roll and bacon' whereas English say 'bacon roll'. Technically the former is the 'correct' terminology - in the completely unbiased opinion of a Scot [emoji4]

Grill of fry? That is the question...
