That's probably why John Mann said she should visit Israel to learn about the effects of the conflict on ordinary Israeli's and then to engage with Jewish groups to learn about anti semitism. I'd go one step further and make her visit Auschwitz. Which I think all MP's should do at some point anyway.
You appeal to your core vote first, then have to try and bridge the gap between them and the floating voters. That's where problems usually tend to roar into life for Party Leaders.
As for Corbyn ? From what a few Jewish friends have been saying, it's unlikely they will feel comfortable enough to vote for Labour as they see him as part of the problem on the left. Others are in two minds over the issue. |
