Well newsnight last night was interesting with the Philip Hammond interview (leaving out the bit about the poor) as he refused to rule himself out from standing (though he acknowledged he was a divisive figure). Will he be the next to stand I wonder???

Whilst he doesn’t have enough support to ever win, he does just the same have plenty of influence and could well be a king maker. Really surprised that he didn’t/hasn’t thrown his support behind Rory Stewart. Quite a blow for Stewart me thinks
