Brexit in a nutshell

No not really.  In football, there is an objective truth.  A ball either goes over a line or it doesn't.  There is a hard right or wrong decision.

Politics is far looser with many things especially at the highest level being about interpretation with more flexibility.

Your football analogy is flawed because it suggests the Bercow can make objectively wrong decisions when he can't.

I think it's plain to see from the latest exchanges in this thread, that some Leaver's are still crying salt over the fact Bercow - as @kav  suggested above - has made the government work hard over Brexit, and not given it the nice easy ride it wanted.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Whether he be a Leaver or Remainer. Or even a Tory. Or whatever car his wife drives, with whatever stickers she wants to put on the window.

The supreme court decision is the end result of pure sophistry, the current parliament rather than displaying supremacy is actually in total disorder and anarchy. After anarchy comes totalitarianism to restore order. It is also remarkable that the Supreme Court appears to be unaware that a Referendum has taken place and the people have already decided to Leave the EU in the single most fundamental democratic action that a People and country can make.

In essence Parliamentary sovereignty is imparted to the representatives by the sovereign people, the referendum was direct democracy, the will of the people is to leave. This is born out by the statistics showing constituency's wanting to leave far out weighing those that wished to remain.

The serious issue at hand is because the establishment attempting to interfere with the vote, which is after all a fundamental right of citizenship, people ultimately decide by which authority they wish to give their allegiances to. The whole façade is anti democratic. Subvert the sovereignty of the people, the people may decide not to obey common law.

Nope. In football there is lots of questionable decisions made by refs. You obviously don't follow it.

Tackles can be legitimate or not, until the latest technology was used it was questionable whether a ball had even crossed the line or didn't (famously see the '66 World Cup).

All of it could have been one way or the other.
Again wrong. Bercow quotes past judgements when he feels like it but made his own up when he felt like it against the advice of his own experts. Always favouring the balance to remain.

Don't see the actions of MPs as anti democratic.

If someone sells you a vacuum cleaner on the promise it also does the best blowjobs, maybe don’t blame the nurse trying to get your knob out.

That’s what MPs have been trying to do for the last three years. Getting your knob out of the vacuum cleaner.

That's a very nice post, except you're forgetting one very important thing.

The Supreme Court decision had nothing to do with Brexit.

Sadly something that is still puzzling some Leaver's.

Leaver's also cannot say the proroguing was nothing to do with Brexit, yet when it's reversed decide it's everything to do with Brexit.

We haven't even had that vacuum cleaner yet. What was that about flawed analogies?

Following the analogy through, I don't think refs typically award dodgy penalties because they're biased against the other team. It's generally because they didn't, in the moment, have all the requisite info to make an informed decision. The analogy kind of falls down there, as Bercow has had the requisite info to make his decisions and as mentioned, has not been shown to have broken any rules.
