Why, because it was obvious why, he prorogued parliament, to get them to **** in plain language.

Now he's buggered off to see if he can out manoeuvre the manoeuvre.

So he lied to the electorate and the Queen.  So long as he delivers Brexit for you, you appear to be happy to accept that?

Of course, nobody has tabled any motion to revoke Article 50, so the referendum is still being honoured.  Simply holding Johnson to his very public promises to at least try to come back with a great new deal seems to be a sensible thing for a sovereign parliament to do.

Inextricably linked now? Yet at the time many Leaver's denied any such implication. How peculiar you might say....

Personally I'm glad you're not as blinkered as most Leavers on here, but the desperation is becoming increasingly more apparent. Whilst I won't ever deny that Leave won the vote, leaving at any cost - be it even just on a moral basis - is unacceptable. No matter the handshake.

And bizarrely we're talking about honour when we have one of the most dishonourable politicians holding our highest office. It's no wonder it's gone out the window and dirty tricks are in play.

Sovereign parliament has had 3 yrs to come up with a deal, ahem cough, cough delay/scupper leaving.

Indeed, direct politics, the mandate given to government to discuss/enact in parliament and yet the dishonourable rabble have done everything in it's powers, to not honour the pledge. Highlighted parts, shine a light on yours allegiances, in fact a glimpse into your prime motivators as a person. You'd make a fine politician, I just wouldn't shake your hand.

Just admit it, you don't like Boris Johnson. Personally I do a lot of business with people I don't like, because I can get something out of them I want, which is money, completely utilitarian motivation behind my actions.

If Boris manages to make exit from the EU a reality, then he's done what the majority wanted regardless whether he argued with his girlfriend or squeezed a woman's thigh or any other myriad of valueless morality tales to discredit him.

You’ve highlighted “sovereign parliament” to “shine a light on my allegiances”?  I’m pretty sure the idea of returning sovereignty was a pretty high motivator on the entire premise of Brexit, or was that only when Parliament says what you want to hear?

As for me not liking Johnson, well done with your detective skills.  Personally, I don’t like anyone who openly lies to my face, just to get what he wants.  Let’s not kid ourselves, those who stand to gain most (financially) from Brexit aren’t the general public.

Rees Mogg is on record as stating that he doesn't expect there to be any material benefit of Brexit for most people for 50 years.  (July 2018 interview with Channel 4 News)

However, certain people will instantly make millions on November 1st if we leave with no deal and those people are already insanely rich.

That's a flat out lie.

Over the next 50 years is not the same as after 50 years.

I'm sure you didn't mean to misrepresent him. It's not something we see remainers do typically...
