Only 7/10?  I'd give it 10/10, it's simply superb.

When you consider it was written in 1947/48 it is incredibly prescient: I particularly loved the way he predicted the masses being  kept happy and unquestioning with a diet of football, a lottery, booze and porn.

Stephen King - The Cell

So far so-so, not one of his best by any means.

I'm almost two thirds of the way through Bad Science.  It can be heavy going at times, but worthwhile.  I have also recently read The Tiger That Isn't by Michael Blastand and Andrew Dilnot.
Both books will put science reporting in the media into perspective and really make you wonder if there is anyone out there you can believe!

Charlie Wilsons War. Better than the film and the film was okay.

I'm going through the Patrick O'Brian series of books at the moment.

Wonderful Royal Navy historical action/thrillers - board 'em in the smoke stuff!

'Infidel' by Aayan Hirsi Ali.  Both horrifying, yet inspirational.

Should be required reading for all.
