D-Day by Stephen Ambrose. A little bit American biased as you might expect but an excellent account of a momentous day in history by a very easy to read author. Lots of first hand accounts of the landings, some from the German point of view, and what was faced by those brave men in the build up and execution of the invasion.

I loved that book. A tru tru tru boys book if there ever was one. I followed The Dirt with Slash's Book, another highly recommended one

No my friend, wouldn't have the time. The only reason I've been able to post so much recently is because we've all been waiting around to see who's getting made redundant. Normal busy-ness will resume shortly.
