Yeah the Workout app does override the setting of returning to the watch face.

I often go running and it stays on the Workout app. However 3rd party running apps like Nike on the watch will return to the watch face, unless you have your watch settings tweaked to stay within the app.

The Workout app stays on the screen on my Watch, which is using the default settings. I've noticed that other apps like the countdown timer don't.

That's perfect, thanks guys. Exactly the way it should be!
I didnt want to have it always go to the last app used, but I did want it to do that on the workout app, so I'm happy with that. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Hello ,

I don't seem to be getting any notifications one watch is set to mirror my phone just done watch update ,,,

When I get a text one phone the watch won't alerts same as for email

What am I missing ????

iNspectorgadJet Publish time 2-12-2019 06:41:24

You don't have the phone unlocked and in use when the message arrives do you? If you're using the phone I don't think the watch alerts.

RSRAVI Publish time 2-12-2019 06:41:25

No iPhone was locked ,,,

Even email alert no red dot or sound coming thru must be a setting some where

Hence the whole reason for watch
Don't have to carry phone around the house

Stiggy Publish time 2-12-2019 06:41:26

Can you check the weather etc. while the Watch is away from your iPhone?

RSRAVI Publish time 2-12-2019 06:41:26

Yes you can as long as you are still in range of your iPhone Bluetooth

Stiggy Publish time 2-12-2019 06:41:26

My question was to you!

Even out of Bluetooth range of your iPhone, you should be able to get data via Wi-Fi. What might be happening is that your Watch cannot use 5GHz Wi-Fi, so cannot get alerts from the iPhone. Do you have a 2.4GHz network your iPhone and Watch can use?

RSRAVI Publish time 2-12-2019 06:41:26

Oh sorry I see what you mean ....

Ah I think I am using 5GHz I have to change that see what happens thank you will try later on today after work thank you

Ps but Twitter is working so is Instagram they load up fine not show about notifications so wifi must be working ?????
