I don't really get these ultra hot sauces.If something is so hot it makes you feel ill and you cant even taste the food its on,whats the point?

It's a case of different people having different tastes and levels of tolerance to spicy food.

I know people who find the mildest Indian curries to be their limit as they find them hot. Personally I don't notice any heat in a Korma or Chicken Tikka Masala.

I get hot sauces because I like a bit of a kick in spicy food, I want my senses to be pushed and I like the heat and the tingle you get from hot food, but I also like the taste of chillis... Scotch bonnets for example are pretty hot chillis but they have an amazing fruity taste - probably one of my favourite chillis for the flavour, also up there is the jolokia but they are hotter again and sometimes the heat from them can overpower the taste.

With hot sauces I go for flavour and heat - some of the hottest sauces I have are purely for going in food, such as Satan's Blood - it's too hot to use and enjoy as a sauce on its own, but it goes well with a drip in certain foods.

All for cooking, I wouldn't like to put anything too hot direct on to food as I'll never taste it, and wouldn't particularly like the pain. It's useful having something that you only need a drop or two of to put some heat in.

I'm partial to curries, chilli, wings, bolognase, fajitas, soup, home made burgers. All of which are much better with some added heat

Except the Ultra Death Sauce above, that's just crazy and a present rather than something too useful.

In my teenage years I was at a gig once and this kebab shop had won an award for the 'after shock' hottest kebab sauce in the uk.I took that thing down without a drop or water, need to try Franks as I've saw it mentioned in here and they sell it in the supermarkets around here.

Got some of the saves insanity sauce - not a fan, its not got a great taste at all. Definitely poor compared to the likes of Marie sharps.
