More likely that the BBC rushed it out ahead of the review into Jimmy Savile's activities at the BBC and possibly for other reasons. Apparently current and former BBC management are delaying responses to the report to try and avoid it being released while the Charter Renewal Process is taking place. Seems BBC management is likely to be eviscerated by the report, even in a watered down form. If what's been reported about the alleged contents of the report, it's likely to be the end of the BBC as we've known it. I'm not into hyperbole but if it's true that Savile abused over 1000children, teenagers and adults on BBC premises and BBC Management failed to do anything to stop him, then it's curtains. But we shall have to wait and see on that one.

Just posting links isnt debate, it gives no insight into an opinion just others that you may or may not agree with

Thank you, that was informative and stimulating.

It just needs a sentence or two if you are posting a link so your take is clear.

Don't understand all the sqealing about Watson, he had information of abuse, he handed it to the police. What does Soemes think happens, to us outside the establishment when allegations are made?Watson could have reeled in his emotive language.

we have a more systematic, almost relentless, hit and runner in the Corbyn and migrant threads (although he might just have temporarily ceased fire)
- but from the tone/accuracy/source of that material, it's pretty clear what his take is data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

More grandstanding from Vaz by the looks of it. Vaz has got questions to answer about a certain Politician, but due to contempt of court rules I shall nothing further than that.

Tom Watson was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. I don't see that he has anything to apologise for, other than using the emotive language of an alleged victim in regards to Brittan. Would they be attacking Watson if he wasn't Deputy Leader of the Labour Party ? Probably not, this stinks of an opportunist attack to nobble the Labour Party.

Anyway it appears that John Mann has a partial copy of Dickens Dossier, and is attempting to hand it over to the Met. He's also pointed out that an ex MP went to one of the survivor events Mann held in Parliament, pledged support but then turns up in the Daily Mail claiming to be the victim of a witch hunt - John Mann on Twitter

My cynical political brain thinks the whole witch hunt meme in the press is an attempt to bury the scandal and for the CSA Inquiry to deliver a report that has the usual platitudes attached which are then ignored as the agenda moves on.

Its a shame, the Tories had a real chance not to fall into the trap of winner takes all politics.
