If you think their contribution was quality discourse you are beyond help.

Did you read what he posted?Several variants of:

"I bought two "British" cars last year and now your leaving I wish I hadn't and I'm so cross I won't buy anything British ever again, and I hope everyone in Europe does the same"

Which is his opinion to share.Just because we don't agree, isn't reason to suggest he leaves the forum.

Also remember, that some subtlety, nuance, and politeness may be lost in translation. How's your Dutch?

"I'll never buy anything British again" hardly needs examining for lost subtly.   I've found that most Dutch people speak extremely good English.I don't speak any Dutch, if I wanted to I'd ask one of the Dutchman on here to translate for me.I'm not suggesting he leave, if his only intent is to be insulting he'll fit right in. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 But if he only has one message, I think we got it.

I find it entertaining. He's basically demonstrating the same stubbornness as many Leavers here who claim we'll just eat British vegetables and fish and can happily spurn any EU produced product.

Personally, I think he's trolling but it's quite funny.

Hey, we agree on something data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I think that's more a case of if we can't get any EU products, we'll just eat British.Personally I'm happy for us to continue buying Dutch Edam and Insulin, even if they stick two fingers up at us.
Actually, forget the Edam, horrible stuff data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Making Brittannië gerat again huh. Good thinking, you all buy mazdas and Toyota’s and dry the European tourist buisness out by celebrating your future hollidays at home. Then the european car industry pulls their buisness back from the uk Becourse they don’t sell any car in the uk and loose 8% of their buisness. Where is the gain? Which cars do you then sell to China or the Us?

Everyone just ignore the blatant troll.

Shall I tell him I'm in the process of buying a Peugeot or will that ruin his day?
