The underside of the wheel arch is all rippled, I put my finger behind it and felt. Apparently this is because "We can't seal as good as robots". Apparently the bumps I'm feeling are sealant, it feels like metal to me. But it can't be, it is a new wing. That is what they quoted for...

Wing or rear quarter?

Sorry. Rear quarter.
The guy at the garage likes to say "We'll put some sealer on it" but I'm hearing sealer = bodge.

The quote for the problem area stated:
Parts Requiring Renewal
Left Rear Side Panel
Amongst other items. I'm assuming this is a quarter panel?

You will have to put some body sealer on but not to fill gaps. The wheel arch should be rolled back on itself. At the factory this is done by Robots in the body shop, well it is at our place. Don't know if they have a machine to crimp it together at there workshop. Get the door seals off and check the welds.

Ooo, not sure about taking the door seals off. Sounds too technical to me data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
My concern is how the metal at the bottom of the arch is so thin and 'overworked' it looks like a torn brandy snap. My brother used to do some panel beating and he said a new wing shouldn't look like that.
Once Winter hits it'll rust like mad.
They can stick their bodge up their arses. The insurance company promised it would be as good as before the accident and it clearly is not.

Take a small magnet with you, a good filler detector.

Interesting. Insurance company are telling us to take it up with Vizion Network as it is "Their problem now".
Well done, I'll never use you again.

Wow. I managed to speak to someone at the insurance company. They looked at the photos and silence, then:
"Do you want to take it to another garage? That is by no means an acceptable repair!"
