Typical used car sales, promise the world but once you drive away its not there problem. You'll never get a showroom condition 3 year old car.

Well, it looks like it has been written off.

Prick Romanian lorry driver just drove into the side of us on the A1, car spun out and we ended up pinned to the front of his truck & the barrier for a hundred metres or so, until he decided to stop.

The arsehole didn't give a toss. No idea how I kept my hands off him.

Hope you are ok. It’s just a car, your personal health is most important.

Some images. Does anyone think this is repairable?

I've seen worse repaired. If you can get the panels (bumper, wing and two doors) from a local breakers yard and find a decent body shop to fit and paint them, it's doable.

Mrs, who was driving at the time, said it felt fine as we limped home in it. Police followed us off the motorway and said they couldn't see anything untoward. My dad and brother followed us home and said it looked fine as well.

It is really bizarre, driver's side and interior are immaculate.

It was towed to the garage we bough it from, a little over two months ago!

I'm concerned about diminished value if it does get repaired. I mean, nobody would want to buy it in a couple of years after an HPI check. Has anyone ever claimed for diminished value on their insurance after an accident repair? Is it even doable?
