Personally I think you're bonkers paying  double the price for a different coloured case and the same internals but it's your money and the watch is a fantastic device. I'm still in love with mine!

Watch os3 makes it so much more than just a notifications checker.

Currys are showing the Watch Series 2 in stock.  I've ordered incase it overtakes my Apple order scheduled for Sep 30th.

I can't get the distance measuring to work, even after initial calibration.   It shows a map of my route but zero distance. Bet it works with the phone connected....

My first walk was around the town in Aberdeen and when I looked at the tracking it had me walking in all strange paths, even through buildings !!

That's probably the gps dropping slightly due to buildings and predicting your path.
Did it map your distance correctly?
