Could you explain the steps you used for the clean install and where to get Windows 10 with full updates from Voucher, I may also go this route tomorrow

Download from here if you do not have a MSDN sub and make a bootable USB flash drive.

SP4 drivers

Download Surface Pro 4 Drivers and Firmware from Official Microsoft Download Center


Set up your SP4, stick the usb drive in the usb slot and then go to Settings > Update and Security > Recovery > Advanced start-up.  When it restarts follow instructions on the screen. When it comes to where to install delete all the partitions and then click next to install. Let it run the course and when done set up again, install the drivers for SP4 from Microsoftand then do updates.

Thanks voucher I will do that as soon as I get it tomorrow, it seems your not the only one that's done this and all that have seen to have no issues at all with the pro 4.

I take it it finds the product key within the system so no need to worry about that?

The key is embedded in UEFI bios.
