I'm toying with the idea of getting one of these once I've sold my gaming laptop. Think I'm going to go with the surface 3 pro over the 4 though. Mainly due to cost over what I'll use it for (mainly for work) how are these on the lap on the sofa etc. Do they wobble about or are they ok?

Use mine all the time on the sofa, brilliant device. Wouldn't be without it!

I'm itching to get a SP4 too, but there are no deals atm unless you think 3 months subscription of the Economist is good.

How is the battery life? Can you get a full days work on one charge?

well I shut down completely after use and I'm not really a heavy user with the little one getting all my attention ATM. So, I charge it every couple of days. Main use is mainly web surfing and photo shopping, emails. If you are a heavy user, you'd probably get about 5 hours out of it I'm guessing.

I was initially after a pro 3 after seeing a deal on Hotukdeals for ex display pro 3,s. The conditions of the ones in my local store was shocking but some other people on there got lucky and got sealed units. Think they where going for £450 at the time but they had a pro 4 next to it and to me just looked better so thought why not. Glad I did, really like the 4. The pen is amazing for Photoshop.
