Perhaps educate yourself about the topic instead of repeating baseless populist nonsense. There are some serious questions around Huawei. And it is not the USA alone at all who have these issues.

So do people think this will get resolved over the coming months? There's no doubt that Huawei have some questionable business practices (plenty of articles about stealing tech etc). And while I'm sure some do have genuine security concerns, it's quite obvious this is more to do with Donald Trump using Huawei as leverage to get a trade deal with China done.

He made that perfectly clear with his comments the other day. Because if he thought Huawei were as dangerous as he keeps saying, they wouldn't have been granted a 90 day extension and the US wouldn't be considering taking them off the list as part of a trade deal.

I bought a Mate 20 Pro just a few weeks before this news broke, I'm very impressed with the phone itself. I phoned Three to find out what would happen if the Google services were somehow blocked, they say that's unlikely to happen, but even if it did, 3 would sort me out a comparable replacement. So, I'm feeling pretty relaxed now.

Unfortunately Trump is desperate to be seen as a hero so he creates crises repeatedly e.g. three month US government shutdown, the US economy still suffers from that.
