Been doing a bit of digging and it seems that if you set your settings to SPACE FILL it renders faster!!

have a look at the NS/day and you will see it rise, as well as the time left goes faster.

SO if you wanna get some points for the team, and your not intent on watching it for hours set it to spacefill for optimum speed

Ah yes I'm on there now. I have one for the team and 2 all together!

I'll be leaving the PS3 on all tonight and till about 3pm tommorow, should get us a couple more WU's.

Wow 40 people on the team now and avforums team is heading towards being in the  top 10 % of contributors

Its only been going a few days ! Having seen how slow the folding software is on my p.c I suppose its not surprising....

Stanford must be well pleased sony have brought the ps3 on board this project !

Remember the PS3 is 30-40% faster then any CPU on the home market for Mac's and PC. Anyway I will have my first work unit is nearly complete.

Also does anyone know if all those points on the map represent just PS3's running folding or PC's as well?

Hmmm - not really much point... even on a 3.0Ghz Xeon it's saying it'll take until July to complete a single work unit
