You are actually correct.
No one needs to use protein drinks.
The problem is to get over 200g of protein per day requires a lot of foot, which can also mean a lot of calories, fats, carbs etc. this due to most foods having a fairly small amount of proteins in them. It could also mean a lot of repetative foods too.
I will have around 40g of protein drink for my breakfast, that would be a lot of food. I will also eat foods with proteins too like a tin of sardines mid morning to help to reach my goal of around 200g. |
