@Barbs OK, even if what you are saying is true, which result is more valid? Presumably only the one that gets you the result you want. Of course there's bias in a poll, that's a given, but if, like the OP, you start a poll, you should at least have the courtesy to believe the result rather than make excuses for it.
Maybe the first post should have been prefaced with: "Here's a poll. If the vote gets me the result I want, great; if not I will think of reasons why it's flawed. I'm not really interested in what you think unless you vote yes". I'm not just moaning, I genuinely find it an affront to democracy that people do this. |
