No worries I get it. I mentioned it as a suggestion for Miss Mandy who's just moving into her new home. I don't think at this stage she would be looking at a complete kitchen refit so i mentioned the electric steamer as a viable option if only in the meantime

My slow cooker was £22 from argos, does everything I need it to and it's been going strong for years!

Something else to recommend are ham hocks.  Cook with lentils, stock cube & pepper for 8 hours on low.  Strain the juice about halfway through to get rid of most of the salt.

Dropped at collect  shop and refund received already. So I've placed another order for one which should arrive on Monday.
