Slow cooker recommendations

Well... I had about £90 of Amazon vouchers, so I ordered the Instant Pot Duo; I figured it's about half the price of the Sage, and I'm confident I can figure out risottos in it as well. As much as I love non-stick pans (I do), I prefer stainless steel for this kind of cooking. It should be delivered tomorrow, and I've already got ingredients for a mac & cheese, and a beef Massaman curry. Exciting!

There is a downside - the Tefal Nutricook is probably going to be useless now

They are lovely. My butcher saves the cheeks for me when he gets a fresh cow in.

I started getting excited until I saw the price tag. For 200 notes I think I'll stick with my Morphy Richards 5l slow cooker, and ladle stock into the risotto for 20 minutes

As it tastes fantastic I haven't been too bothered in understanding how exactly it does it. Chicken and Asparagus is lovely, as it Wild mushroom....

One of the beauties of the Instant Pot is there are thousands of Users and recipies out there.  So do a search on Instant Pot "your choice of meal" and you'll generally find something e.g.:
