The original plan was chicken, sweet pots & loads of green veg, I’m on a gym going health tip, which makes me feel better about going to the pub. Then I remembered the sausages.

Sweet pot is a must with sausages anyway.
The sprouts (& tenderstem Brocolli you can’t see) were a case of the above & emptying the fridge of whatever was left before the weekend. I love me sprouts!

Obvs I had the chicken too eh!

Anyway, big thumbs up from me, really tasty & not greasy at all. Might have to go back tomorrow to clear them out, but how long would you freeze them for?!?!?

My gut feeling is, as long as you want.  But as it's your gut at risk I looked it up. Sausages stored in a freezer will last indefinitely.  But to maintain texture and taste, 1 to 2 months

I’ve got a couple of pork shoulders in my freezer. They’ve been stuffed with onions and bacon.

Been in there since 2015. I wonder if they will be ok.

They will probably be fine to eat but may taste rank, I find they develop a fish style flavour if frozen too long, same with bacon, something to do with the food they were fed on unless that’s an urban myth any way personally I’d sling them.

On another note go cook those sausages I want some feedback !!

A bit lame these hot sausages from aldi had to smother them in tabasco to up the heat (also loads of mustard)
