Always in the oven on a preheated tray with a little rapeseed oil regardless of what the packet cooking instructions state.

Around 180 for 25 - 35 minutes for fatter sausages.

Eating the Aldi ghost chilli sausages right now - not really feeling any heat, very tasty though

Doesn’t surprise me really. Like supermarket vindaloos. They have no proper heat either.

Oil the bottom of the tin, i use a tin with raised side which you could bake brownies in. Fan oven at 180/190c for 30 -40 mins. Or until the skins are slighty browned.

When cooking in the oven, I find I have to quadruple the cooking time suggested on the packet. Slight exaggeration but still

Yes sir!! I find that too. Have cooked some close to an hour so that they were cooked fully through and they still were not burnt on the skins.

Think it depends on the oven. If it says 180c for fan 200c for regular i still put my fan to 200c or it just takes ages to cook to what the packeet says.

Silly question: Is that in a pre warmed oven?
My usually time in a fan assisted oven is around 30 minutes.

yes, always pre heat.

I like my sausages well done. If I followed the cooking instruction they would be wobbly.
