On the Ocado web site it says I last purchased Black Farmer Premium sausages on 13/10/16. So it looks like I didn't like them .

The sausages from my local butcher shop taste better than any I've bought from the supermarket.

I only had the Black Farmer sausages a few times a couple of years ago so maybe I am not remembering them accurately, but I thought they were good at the time.

I agree, any butcher sausage is going to be far superior, but from a weekly supermarket shop i still think Heck are the best.

Best sausages I’ve had are called Cowboys and can be bought from A Butchers in Luggershal near Andover. Lovely.

That’s quite a way from me but my local butchers sausgaes are fantastic. In fact, I think the British sausage is one of the best I’ve tasted in the world.

Hepatitis E, or HEV, is thought to have entered the country in pork imports from the Netherlands and Germany.  PHE understands all sausages sold under the Tesco brand are exclusively sourced within the UK.

So just because the "victims" shopped at one branch of Tescos, doesn't mean it was a Tesco sausage that infected them.
