If you use an exterior masonry paint with biocides in it to keep algae at bay you should be fine.

Hmm not sure if it has biocides in it, bought it mostly for the pizza oven which requires a breathable paint. There's not too much to paint if it needs doing again next year

If you've already got paint, don't worry But if it does go green, it might be worth considering next time.

It's definitely "full of character" [emoji23][emoji23]

Just sanded it down, and I've learnt that render does not smooth down as easily as plaster! Obvious when I think about - durr

Given it a coat of white, and it's looks ... Mediterranean.... also realised that the sandy worktop no longer goes, so it's back to the drawing board. Might just put another utility concertante slab down

Dropped a massive b******k with the rendering! I've put too much on and now I can't fit the BBQ grill in BAHAHAHA!

Any suggestions on how to remedy the situation, that don't involve rebuilding, are welcome

Yeah I think that's what I'll need to do. Not sure which tool to tackle it with ... brick bolster? [emoji23]
