Turns out that our engineers don't have LLI's, so I kitted them up with these that also do temp readings. Now I can verify that my coffee is too cold before it touches my lips

I'm still on the look out for an oven, the wife won't sign off on an Uuni as she doesn't like it visually *eye roll*

If anyone knows of one for around £400, please let me know!

Looks really nice. Hadn't seen this thread before but was an intersting read.

We're planning on having a brick built parrilla done later on this year, but will be putting our trust in a builder rather than a DIY job. Don't trust my building skills

Buy...what?

Edit - never mind, I assume you mean the one you got? I've actually seen them on eBay from many different sellers. The wife doesn't like the door at the front unfortunately, and is that a faux brick around the edges of the door?

I like it tbh, but my opinion doesn't count for much it seems out of interest, how is the size? I see you have the 90, is that the minimum you'd suggest or could I get away with a 70?

Not sure if this is aimed at me (my oven), but its not fake brick around the door, they are real bricks.
I think a 70 might be fine, but the bigger the better as you have to fit wood and a pizza in there too. The smaller it is the harder this will be to do and your pizza will be too close to the wood/fire and may cause it to burn.
With a pizza oven the easiest was to regulate the temp is to move the pizza closer to the door where its slightly cooler or further in where its hotter. The larger the oven the easier it is to regulate.

Yeah sorry, not sure  why I got you two mixed up - I'll blame it on it being early

I shouldn't be in this much turmoil over something so magical
