Wow good find! So 126 out of 23,000 vs 32 out of 40,000....
Neither statistics make me happy, but it just shows it is the same checks, these are ultimately people...
And it is a heck of a lot easier to trace a electronic money only, journey tracked service than picking up someone roaming the streets... I seriously don't get why some think black cab drivers are better vetted than any other licensed taxi drive in London. The black cab drivers have done a fantastic job in spreading fake news...
But saying it again, if it turns out that uber has broken the actual stated rules of its license then they should be given an opportunity to rectify that, and put under measures to prevent them from doing that again. I'm still awaiting any actual factual points as to where they've broken the rules.... |
