What is the difference between Labours and IHRA definition of Anti Semitism from your point of view?

I have read some articles about the differences appeared to be the addition for examples to exclude criticism of Israel's government policies (rather than "Jewish")  from being Anti Semitic. Are these the differences or are there additional things in the mix?

“The Shadow Chancellor used an Early Day Motion - a mechanism for proposing issues to be debated in the Commons - to suggest that it should be called 'Genocide Memorial Day – Never Again For Anyone' instead.”

EXCL Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell called for Holocaust Memorial Day to be renamed

Sounds fair enough.  Genocide shouldn't happen regardless of race, colour or creed.

“Mr Katz said that he had decided to attend the event, which was billed as “Never Again – For Anyone”, rather than going to the official Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) commemoration at the Guildhall.

He described how “the event was slanted as anti-racist but the room was brimming with raging hatred, directed at Israel and Jews not sharing the organiser’s views”.

Mr Katz wrote: “Jeremy Corbyn walked down the aisle with a policeman, pointing to those he wanted removed. As he approached me, I held up my HMD invitation and demanded to question my fellow survivor but no questions were allowed."

Why is all this stuff being reported now? Looks like the event in question was in 2010.
I mean why is it so in the news now and not 8 years ago.

Because he wasn't leader of the Opposition 8 years ago.
To turn Rascak's rather odd post on it's head, do our JC apologists accept that he might be an anti-Semite?

JC has been the leader of the Labour party since 2015, so 3 years have passed.
While in the biggest change in UK history to our country (Brexit), suddenly the biggest topic of the Labour party is not what they think of Brexit, but events of 8 years ago.
My question was, why now?

Rascak hadn’t posted on this thread (unless it’s been deleted) maybe you’re getting confused with the other thread and getting yourself in a pickle

https://www.avforums.com/threads/next-general-election-who-to-vote-for.2180998/page-2

Your choice of words like “odd” and “apologists” suggests your own thoughts despite declining to state them on the other thread when asked?

Tbf it’s been a long day

It's the same issue, does it matter what thread it was posted in? The JC apologists are spreading their message wide

And what message is this? And is this a Corbyn message or a general Labour Party message?

I've asked what the fuss is about with regards the Labour definition of anti-semitism and no reply.

So no one has an opinion on what the difference is between the Labour and IHRA definition of anti-semitism, but they have an opinion because it is a difference.
And the difference appears to be related too the criticism of Israel rather than Jews.

So where does this leave us? If you criticise Israel's policies then you can be pulled up as anti-semitic?

Maybe the first thing is to revisit anti-semitism and it's definition again because that appears to have changed from other posts?

And "Corbyn apologists" for being anti-semitic or anti Israel or are they both the same? As in, if you are anti separatism in Israel, are you anti-semitic?
