Yes, Yes it is.
You can wave silly rankings about all you damn well like, but the fact is the government has cut funding in real terms to education of the next generation of teachers, doctors, nurses and essentially our future workforce ... at a time and place where there are already shortages in many key professions, there are demands to reduce immigration that help can fill those essential job shortfalls.
The young today have less wealth, less equity and less social mobility than previous generations including mine.
In terms of %GDP on education, we are 58th. |
