Thaks for the feedback Mixing is like an artform in its own right though isn't it! It is the bit I skimp on the most, as you can tell

Cheers

The clarity comes from the FL Studio package, as it seems to always produce the music with a clarity and brightness. It has a few plugins that help too (Maximus and Soundgoodizer are two). I haven't produced or mastered any of the tracks as I find it a dark art tbh. I would love to find a decent course on how to do this - anyone know of one?!?

A bit more chilled out than my normal stuff but I guess it does you good to write something different.

Great tune, it reminds me of The Charlatans in the 90's with a funk bassline, my addition would be a wah-wah rhythm guitar in the background to give it that 70's jazz-flick sound.

What vst are you using around 1:05? it sound a bit like junglist, one of my old favourites but I'm guessing there are newer & better vsts available now, nice tune btw.

Hmm not sure lol I'll load it up and check. I recently bought Harmor for FL Studio and from memory I created the sound in Harmor. I'll have a look and let you know

I had a look and I modified a sound in the plugin called Harmor so it isn't a preset unfortunately. Not sure whether I can upload presets from Harmor - if anyone knows how to do this let me know and I will upload it for you (if you use Harmor).

The section at 1:05 works really well. Would sound bad ass if you dropped in a hefty half time drum beat and built it up from there
