Here's an idea, I think it could be interesting to have fellow AVF musicians and producers attempt to master each others work.
I'd certainly appreciate the aural perspective of someone else, and I'd be happy to see if I could improve (or maybe destroy, lol) someone else's work.
I don't have an arsenal of mastering tools to hand, and I doubt many people here do, but sometimes an EQ tweak here and there, a bit of compression or a subtle effect can make worthwhile differences to a mix.
Of course someone will say this wouldn't equate to true mastering, and you'd be right, but I think it could be an interesting excercise nonetheless.
