The "stop/start" seemed more responsive/quicker to work.   The electronic seems to disengage "better" as well.

Electronic handbrake...

Apart from that, nothing discernible.

That's a big download just for a handbrake update [emoji50] Was hoping for some new displays or something [emoji6]
Might just do the sat nav update then and leave the system updates until service time.
Thanks for the replies mate...hope you're still enjoying the car [emoji106] (I am)

Loving the car.  Occasionally cant get videos to play off a USB stick, but that's a very minor gripe.
The Peugeot Forums ran a load of threads on the updates and listed a load of other changes/differences like more the automatic change being more responsive (mines manual), better DAB reception (I didnt notice any change) and general tweaks to the infotainment system.  I was happy pre-updates but the system seems more responsive with less "button lag" when pressing the touchscreen.

Trouble is Peugeot don't publish change logs so its hard to be definitive on what has changed.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I have a bit of a dilemma at the moment. I am due to change my company car and I have been looking for a few weeks and so far tried the Ateca, Karoq, Sportage GT Line, T-Roc, Audi Q2, Kadjar and Toyota CH-R.

To be honest I have been completely underwhelmed by the VAG range finding them quite dull both internally and externally (the Ateca and Karoq reviewers must be looking at different cars, they may be solid but IMHO very dull!).

I had pretty much made my mind up on the Sportage GT Line until I decided to have a look at the 3008. I took one for a test drive and both myself and my wife was pretty impressed by the whole experience. I love the I-cockpit idea and the overall quality far exceeded the other vehicles I have so far looked at (the other marques need to up their game a bit!).

However, I still have concerns over the Peugeot brand. They used to have quite a poor reputation for reliability and looking around the web it still seems a bit hit and miss.

So my question to any of you Peugeot drivers and especially 3008 drivers, should I still be overly concerned about the reputation of Peugeot?

Had my 3008 for over two years now with no problems at all. Dealer has been fine for services. No apparent difference from Volvo before.

Thanks for the response. That's been one of my biggest issues, the Peugeot dealerships seem to get bad press especially with regards to aftercare. Just out of interest what grade have you got?

Shocking build quality on my 2 Yr old 208gti

2 front shocks replaced due to blown seals,

2 alloys replaced due to crazing in the diamond cut finish,

Replaced suspension top mounts due to cracking steering

Radio lost its rds tmc and dealer refusing to help

Creaking dashboard

Worst but not least, the air con compressor pipe split dumping about 2 litres of water inside the car, soaking wet carpets and lots of water damage, the entire was stripped to dry out and replace.

Guess what, it went again a few weeks later, I have no faith in the brand, the dealership or the car, best avoid if you can.

Grade? 1.2 GTLine manual. Focal Sound upgrade improves sound and soundproofing making a quiet and comfortable car.

Thing that put me off is the 2 year warranty and 3rd year provided by the dealership itself.

Would never buy one knowing that! Well unless I had it on a 2 year lease. I don’t trust relying on a dealership for warranty and it’s likely they won’t want to do anything if it’s at their cost.
