I don't think Noel Coward would mind his original story being adapted for the 21st century audience. In fact the incredible locations, cars and costumes embed this wonderful fantasy into another time altogether.
It was a glorious sight for sore, tired eyes - reminding me of the joy of life... with the world currently in a crisis, let's just suspend our cynicism and try to enjoy the beautiful work on the screen. I loved it.
