For heaven's sake Life on Mars should get at least a second season to allow audience exposure and a viewer boost from LOST. The ratings for the show are inaccurate. In fact I only know viewers who are unaware of the show's existence. I don't know any one who dislikes it. Life on Mars is a fanciful crime drama; it's a humorous, magical, mystical return to the 60's; an excellent, entertaining show suitable and enjoyed by my whole family. The actors are the very best, as is the script, set, directing and editing. There are only 2 problems. (1) You can't just jump in and expect to enjoy the show; you have to see it from the beginning, read a plot summary, or catch up with the first episodes. The producers could provide the viewer with a better plot lead-in at the beginning of the show to deal with this. (2) Today's television audiences are hooked on reality shows and have lost their sense of imagination, if ever they had one. Give the viewers an opportunity to catch-on. Those with a brain will be avid followers by the end of the second season.
