So, had a BBQ today and I ended up cooking! Football scores were coming in and updates from a footy pal, the watch was a revelation! My phone stayed out of the way of food and drink and cooking!

Also took some pics using the remote camera app, was useful for some nice pics of myself and the Gf! Wasn't able to connect to the camera for a while but I restarted the phone and it worked great.

So is anyone using screen protector? What kind of protection is available for the watch? I haven't had a chance to look as yet, I'd imagine there are screen protectors though right?

I posted a video on the destruction of the sports watch

I really don't thing you will need a screen protector on it, not with the experiment containing the face being run down a cheese grater and no marks were seen

Which version of the watch was used for the smash test?

leebroath Publish time 2-12-2019 06:10:15

Definetly the sports watch, you can tell just by looking at the colour of it, def not shiny SS

Just watched a video from Redmond Pie and the sports watch drops from a height face on the brick floor and it completely smashes the screen. He then resorts to kicking it and totally destructing it lol

Quick update - 16 or so hours after its first charge. Had a few peeps over for beers n beers n beers....everyone's had a go at changing faces, calling people from the watch, and calling into it yada yada yada.

It still has 27% battery remaining. This is really good. Maybe the remaining charge drops like a stone????

I got to bed time (11ish) with 62% remaining so I didn't charge it. Just switched it off, will see how today goes data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
