Good to see that the Sky Sports Football app has been updated to provide Apple Watch notifications. Good sign that the "big boys" are getting on board quite quickly.

I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in this but I think it looks cool and have backed it. It's a Kickstarter campaign for clips that allow you use any watch strap you like with your Apple watch. These are the same people that made Steelconnect for the Pebble Steel. Anyway I'll leave it with you to have a look if you wish.

I've installed sky sports football, but can see no mention of it in the watch app or on the watch... Does it just work? Or am I missing something?

Doesn't show in the watch app, you get push notifications to the watch. It's a bit like what's app, it's not in the watch app but you just get notifications on the watch.

I'm sure it will offer more given time.

Got my 42SSWSB delivered today, very happy the sport band is ridiculously comfortable and from the quick play I've had with the watch its very well polished for a first release

Now just wondering if I should cancel my 42SSBSB order and try to initiate a band swap in store because I really want the black band...

So I have been keeping an eye on my activity, mainly steps. My phone reports in the health app that I have covered 2008 steps today covering 1.06 miles, my watch was reporting 1970 but it just jumped up to 2008 to match the phone even though I have been sitting down. Before i went to the toilet it was on 1907, no way is the toilet 101 steps away!

Not sure how accurate the step counting is data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

It's good to know that the iPhone and watch working together though. I had visions of the health app showing both, steps for the iPhone and the watch separately.
It's good to know that the health app works it in together.

I got my 42mm SS w/BSB on Friday but have had 3 12Hr shifts at work so only today am i getting a chance to properly use it.

Rather impressed so far but there are definitely a few improvements i would like to see, the screen coming on when you raise your wrist usually works but not always, apps do tend to crash quite often for me at least and some apps dont really offer much and i feel they have just cobbled together something just so they can have an app released.

On the good points the battery life is great, don't really see what all the fuss is about as i charge my phone every night and so now i just do this at the same time as it's easily lasting a full day.I did particularly like having it set to give me score notifications from the football and a quick glance to see who scored.

Also never have I been so popular at work, all weekend everyone going ooh it that an Apple watch lets have a look data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Overall i am quite happy as i knew there would be a few things not quite right being a 1st Gen device but hopefully a few software updates and developers being a bit more creative in how they use it for apps and it'll be a great device.
