How long does it stay lit at the moment?

Does the screen light up when you get a notification or does that only happen when you purposely look at it?

I hear you can also tap the screen to turn it on/ light it up. I didn't know that till today.

So im lying in bed and the watch beeps and hits me with the haptic. "time to warns for 1 minute" it says. I'm in bed trying to sleep you stupid watch!!!!!

It's around 5 seconds, if you keep looking at it but if you put your arm down it just goes off.seems fine but some notifications turn off quicker. Not a major issue and it's not meant for displaying information for long periods I guess. Just a matter of getting used to it

I read somewhere before the watch was released it takes about a minute to boot up, can anyone confirm this?

Just did a test, one minute and thirteen seconds. Though in reality I can't see myself ever turning this bad boy off ;-)
